I've been here twice now for a drink and it's definitely one of the cuter lounges downtown. There's a long bar with big comfy booths to hang out in. An upstairs balcony seating overlooking the bar and pool tables. Fun funky lights, disco ball, and preeettty sweet decor, it definitely has pizazz.
Drinks have been good each time. I found out they make their own sweet and sour so I was able to order my favorite amaretto sour and it was awesome. I've had wine here a couple times too and haven't been disappointed by their cabernet choices.
Service is always good and there is table service in the bar area. Prices are reasonable and it's in a great location. I'll be back. -

Meh. There is nothing positively remarkable about Marz. The cocktails are ok. The price point is not that great for what you get. In the world of craft cocktails or even basic old school yummy cocktails, for instance a Manhattan or an old fashion, they lack balance, strength and smoothness. There is a general attitude issue here as well, you never know if they are going to be kind or totally rude and arrogant. There are a couple women and men who are consistently assholes who work there. Who wants to tip an abrasive jerk? Or visit the place when you don't feel welcome? Major way to dampen a fun night out.
The only thing that's interesting here is the changing small plate options. They used to serve steaks etc here that were a great deal and delicious...but no more. The Indian nights are fantastic. Nacho night is not.
The setup inside is kind of weird. The old long upholstered bench with little bar tables and chairs on the wall is gone and the flow feels less comfortable. The strange yet intimate mirror section is gone too. Overall, there are much better places to go in Lincoln now. -

My favorite place to grab a casual drink with my husband and friends! The drinks are always made perfectly, it's well priced, and the ambiance is really neat! We love stopping by before or after a movie or just to chitchat about our day! It's a really cool place to hangout! We will be there soon for a delicious Moscow mule!

Lousy bar. Terrible service. Sky high prices. $8.00 for an amaretto sour that's mostly ice?!?

I didn't really know what to expect, especially after seeing the crazy disco ball hanging over the front door....
But we LOVED it!
They rolled out a fun winter drink menu which was the bomb. And super inexpensive--most drinks were around $5!!! I couldn't partake in very much, due to driving but I did try a pomegranate drink. Their food looked super yummy, but we didn't try any.
Service was wonderful and the music they played was super sexy! If I ever went on a date in Lincoln, I'd come here for a nightcap :)
